Lemon/straw in colour, this is a thoroughly pleasing and rather classic style of Clare Valley Riesling. The nose reveals aromas weaving through florals, spices, lemon cheesecake, citrus, wet stones and there is a minerally backing. The wine has length and persistence with a good line of acidity and should easily handle ten years in the cellar, improving along the way. A good Riesling.
