Awarded 94 Points by Wine Pilot's Ken Gargett
Premium Shiraz from our Single Vineyard series, taking grapes specifically from 'The Edge' Block off one of our premier Barossa Valley vineyards.
The name was a double-barrel meaning – 'The Edge' Block is (aptly) on the edge of this particular vineyard, with the wine dedicated to a FABAL Chairman, Ian 'Edge' Edgley.

WINE PILOT 94 POINTS
The wine is of bruised plum hues with dark cherry rim. The nose offers aromas of chocolate, mocha, plums, orange rinds, coffee beans and cassis. We have focus, energy, balance and length, through to fine, if slightly grippy tannins. There is serious persistence here. From the excellent 2022 vintage, the wine still appears very young. It should provide pleasure for the next twelve to fifteen years. Cracking value.
NOSE: Black fruits, spice, dark chocolate
PALATE: Primary black and red fruit characters with creamy, round oak palate.
PAIR: slow-roasted lamb shoulder with hand-cut chips.
