Moppa Springs Estate is located on Moppa Springs Road just outside of the Barossa township of Greenock. This excellent pocket of the Barossa grows reds exceptionally well – particularly Cabernet – leading to this parcel being selected for our Single Vineyard series.
This Cabernet typifies the variety and vintage for this sub-region of the Barossa.

WINE PILOT 93 POINTS
Opaque maroon with a dark blood red rim, there is an evocative nose here with aromas of chocolate, spices, a whiff of pepper, plums, cedar, tobacco leaves, mulberries and black fruits. Good concentration throughout with bright, zesty acidity, the wine has real length through to powdery tannins on a persistent finish. Should drink well for a decade.
NOSE: Deep, rich, dark fruit intensity.
PALATE: Structured dark and stewed fruit characters with good weight and grippy Cabernet tannins
PAIR: A good burger.
