WINE ORBIT 96 POINTS
Dazzling aromas of dark fruit richness, vanilla, cedar, game and tapenade lead the way to a splendidly concentrated palate offering beautifully layered mouthfeel, wonderfully structured by loads of silky tannins. It's opulent and structured at the same time with a prolonged sturdy finish.
WINE PILOT 92 POINTS
An appealing blend of Greenock Creek Cabernet and Vineyard Road Shiraz, the wine spent 31 months in a mix of French and American oak.Dark magenta hue. The oak is still evident but not intrusive. There are aromas weaving through chocolate, black fruits, plums, coffee beans, mocha and vanilla. A plush style, just the sort of thing lovers of good Barossa wines adore. Mid length, this has fine tannins, which are ever so slightly grainy. A flick of acidity running the length keeps it fresh. Now for the next six to eight years.
