WINE ORBIT 95 POINTS
Opulent and wonderfully complex, the wine shows blackberry, cured meat, vanillin oak and hazelnut aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that's plush and richly textured. Its' weighty and expansive with silky tannins in abundance, making it solid and velvety at the same time. Stylish and hugely appealing. At its best: now to 2033.
WINE PILOT 94 POINTS
Matured in new American oak, this is a terrific example of what Langhorne Creek can do. Ripe, plush and generous, this is a lovely approachable style. There are notes of black fruits, cassis, leather and chocolate. The palate sees some truffly notes emerge. Excellent length with fine, supple tannins. Well cellared bottles will give pleasure for at least a decade.
